2. POSITION OVERVIEW

The Assistant Store Keeper is a frontline operational role responsible for the day-to-day receipt, storage, issue, and record-keeping of construction materials, tools, consumables, and assets at a designated project site. The role is critical to project cost control, schedule adherence, and asset accountability.

Every material movement handled by the Assistant Store Keeper must be recorded in RCPL's ERPNext system in real time. This ensures that procurement, accounts, site engineering, and management all work from the same verified data. The successful candidate will receive structured training on ERPNext stock transactions, mobile-based scanning, and RCPL's standard operating procedures.

4. QUALIFICATIONS & ELIGIBILITY

4.1 Mandatory Requirements

4.2 Experience (Preferred, Not Mandatory)

  1. Fresh candidates are welcome; no prior experience required.
  2. Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in stores, inventory, or material management will be given preference.
  3. Prior exposure to construction sites, manufacturing stores, or retail inventory is a plus.
  4. Familiarity with any ERP system (ERPNext, SAP, Tally, Odoo) is an added advantage.

4.3 Technical Skills

  1. Basic computer literacy — MS Office, email, internet browsing.
  2. Smartphone proficiency for mobile app-based data entry.
  3. Basic numerical aptitude.
  4. Ability to read technical drawings and material codes.
  5. Willingness to learn ERPNext and QR/barcode scanning workflows.

  1. Basic Salary: As per RCPL salary scale, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

6. SELECTION PROCESS

  1. Behavioural Assessment Questionnaire — 25-minute online psychological assessment evaluating consistency, attention to detail, honesty, work ethic, and responsibility. Minimum 60% required to proceed.

  3. Structured Interview — In-person or video interview at RCPL HR Department, Phuntsholing.
  4. Practical Assessment — Basic computer skills, numerical aptitude, and record-keeping exercise.
